Minecraft Bedrock RTX is so un-optimized it's crzy

Hello there, I will completely build the same pc. Like the same motherboard and CPU. However these problems people face, is it diminishable with the new bios update? And is it maybe possible to help me out? Like the settings I should put in the bios? Maybe make a video regarding the settings people must to avoid problems. Would really help me out <3

This game doesn't have FSR 3.1. It is FSR 3.0 which is basically FSR 2.2.

What upscaler are you using and what performance are you getting?

MSI PRO GAMING Z790 motherboard with 13600K with 0x125. I have voltage offset -0.125 and it never goes over 1.13V and 60º, with 5.2/4.2Ghz OC, 24100 CineBench 23. Noctua D12. When running CB the most it goes is 73º

Look, I really appreciate the modder’s efforts here but I actually like to see the levels I’m playing. Whenever there isn’t much light, you can’t actually see anything. Just look at how the players weapons are just plain black most of the time.

Eh… atmosphere is ruined for the fast paced action here. The light sources need toned down. The imp fireballs all look as bright as the sun and lose any sort of variation in tone.

30 years on and still going strong updated and new content like no other game. What we going to get for it another 30 years down the line.

The last level is clearly better in the ray traced version.

Did you update your bios to 0x129 release? I wanted to get a 13600k cpu and i was wondering if the new microcode is impacting the performance or no (i watched the current video on your channel about performance but many people said it doesn't affect performance)

What settings and framerate are you aiming for?

I'm a pc gamer, but I used to only play console games. The thing I liked about console was that every game was optimized to run a consistent frame rate. Just very accessible and consistent. With pc, running mods gives crazy new possibilities to games, and the graphics can be maxed out to a much higher degree.

Redo this video but show the fps counters, we know you omitted them for obvious reason. Also add another layer of comparison where it's TAA plus 25% sharpening filter either from the game itself or from GPU control panel.

Transworld surf was the best surfing game ever. You actually had to pump to get speed, unlike Kelly Slaters game. Just remake that with better graphics and physics.

If you are using Asus motherboard, you can switch back to older microcode, just like that.

I just did my Bios update and did this test and got. Max threads 10428 16 threads 9552 8 threads 7113 4 threads 4310 2 threads 2189 1 thread 1100 It is about on par as I had before. Initally my voltage was higher as compared to before. You might have to play around with your Load line Calibration. AC/DC LL or/and Undervolt your CPU. Still this is an absolute shitty situation with Intel. I did have one of my 13600K fail and am on my second one.

Was condering to get an 13600k as I thought microcode update would fix the issue. Is there any other AMD alternative that can deliver the performance close to 13600k at same budget?

Intel's fake fix just deepens the anti-trust hole they've dug for themselves. AMD is sure grateful for it though.

The only stability fix that is not BS is to reduce voltage until Vcore never exceeds ~1.4V in any scenario, sync cores at constant multipliers (P- and E-cores separately of course), test for stability, reduce multipliers if needed. For my i9-13900KF: P-cores 55x, E-cores 43x, LLC6, actual Vcore ~1305-1314 mV in all-core loads, Vcore spikes (low CPU usage) ~1.35-1.36V

Not sure if it is possible but they need to release another update to push the performance back up without destroying the chips cause this feels like 14th gen performance is the same as 13th gen performance after the update.

This sounds about right for the microcode update. Performance was affected negatively, but whether or not it’s substantial just really depends on the use case of the owner
